Credits & Pricing
Oneshot uses a credit-based system. You use credits when Oneshot generates content for you.
Free Credits
Every new account receives 100 free credits — enough to build and deploy your first app.
How Credits Work
Credits are used for:

The actual credit usage depends on the complexity of your request and how much AI processing is needed.
Model-Based Pricing
Sandbox operations (building and chatting) cost different amounts depending on which AI model you choose. Credits are scaled by a cost multiplier relative to Claude Sonnet 4 (1x baseline).

For example, a build session that costs 100 credits with Claude Sonnet 4 would cost 300 credits with Claude Opus 4, or just 5 credits with Gemini 2.5 Flash.

Your credit balance is shown in the top right of your dashboard. Click on it to see:

Bring Your Own Provider
Pro subscribers can connect their own AI provider API keys (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI) directly in the build dashboard. When using your own provider:
- Zero credit usage for builds and chat — your API key handles the AI costs
- Full model access — use any model your provider supports
- Pay your provider directly at their published API rates
Scoping conversations and document generation still use Oneshot credits. Bring Your Own Provider only applies to sandbox operations (building and chatting in the dashboard).
What Can I Build With Credits?

Tips to Use Credits Efficiently
- Be specific upfront: Clear descriptions = fewer iterations = fewer credits
- Review before building: Check the PRD and designs before starting the build
- Batch your changes: Instead of many small requests, combine them into one
- Use the preview: Test in preview before deploying
